  1. Hello,
I am new to learning about e-discovery so my knowledge entering this class is very little. The biggest thing that I learned this week was from the ESI video about information storage. The video said that 18 million civil suits are filed every year. I had a teacher who formally worked for Walmart as a defense attorney in slip and fall cases and would tell us stories of pulling out information and videos from 5 years prior to use as defense materials against civil suits. The video said may companies do not store things correctly, at all, or where they could be easily accessed. That was shocking to me!
I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone in the class, and see what everyone else learned so far.
    Jennifer
